Texas Governor Rick Perry has invited the American Family Association to host a 'National Day of Prayer'. The hateful message of the AFA will be amplified and lent credence by association with this national political figure.
The Dallas Transgender Advocates and Allies is joining with other freedom minded organizations to make our objections be heard.
Religious rhetoric has no place in the national politic especially not one as virulently transphobic and homophobic as the AFA's.
We will be gathering near Reliant Stadium at the Intersection of Kirby Dr and McNee Rd Houston Texas about 7:00am.
There will also be a protest at the Dallas City Hall. Details Here
Back ground information why are we protesting may be found here.
